Volunteer
We make a difference and you can too, by becoming a volunteer at Providence Connections!
Volunteering at Providence gives you an opportunity to change the lives of local children and their families. Donating your time to Providence Connections can help so many people. Volunteer opportunities are available throughout the entire year. In fact, Providence volunteers have logged more than 3,000 community service hours in this past year alone. At PFSC (Providence Family Support Center) volunteer opportunities could include; gift wrapping, serving meals, cooking, decorating, clean up days, front-desk receptionist, office organizing, reading, and/or entertaining children.
Providence Connections relies heavily on the generous support of volunteers to enhance the many programs and services that are offered at Providence Family Support Center and Amelia House. Volunteers are thoroughly trained and oriented prior to their volunteer experience at Providence Connections.
Helping others in need is such a wonderful way to discover a new sense of responsibility because people really depend on you. Volunteering at Providence can also help you develop a new understanding of people who are different from you – meeting people of different races, ethnic backgrounds, in financial distress and/or in a family crisis.
Providence's volunteers range from young adults to senior citizens and come from all walks of life. Some get involved through service learning projects sponsored by local colleges and universities. No matter the reason for volunteering, Providence is grateful for each and every volunteer.
Won't you consider making a difference and volunteer with Providence?
